How to?

How to see your doctor

You may consult either of the doctors. They will see you in the surgery, by appointment, which can be made by telephoning the receptionist during surgery hours. Urgent cases can be seen on the same day, otherwise you will be offered the next available time. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know.

How to speak to your doctor on the telephone

Dr Moore is available to speak to you on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after morning surgery at 12 noon.

Dr Way is available to speak to you on Monday and Wednesday after morning surgery at 12 noon. She is also available to speak to you on Thursday afternoons at 15.45.

How to request a home visit

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and require a HOME VISIT, please try and make the request before 10.30 am - this allows the doctors time to plan their visits efficiently. In an EMERGENCY situation, please make it clear that you require an immediate home visit.

How to get test results

For X-ray, blood and other investigation results, please telephone the receptionist on 01420 22106 after 11.00 am.

What to do when the surgery is closed

If you need an EMERGENCY visit out of hours, a doctor will always be on call. Please telephone 01420 22106 and your call will be directed automatically to the doctor on duty. However, if you would just like advice with any medical problem that you may have, you may phone NHS DIRECT, 24 hours a day, on 0845 4647.
