Midwife - Christine Welch RM

Christine looks after our expectant mums from early pregnancy to six weeks after delivery, together with one of our doctors. The first ante-natal appointment is on a Thursday at 13.45 - partners are always welcome. Routine ante-natal clinics are by appointment on Thursdays from 14.30.

District Nurse - Jane Barker RGN BA Hons

Patients who are confined to their homes and need nursing assistance may arrange through the receptionist for our District Nursing Sister Jane Barker to call. The hospital will normally arrange for the nurse to visit patients who have been discharged but still require some nursing.

Health Visitor

Our Health Visitor runs a clinic at Bentley once a month on Tuesday afternoons between 1 - 2 pm and at other times at the Alton Health Centre. You may contact her for advice on tel: 01420 88336.

Health Care Assistant - Ruth Evans SRM SCM HV Dip

Ruth is our Health Care Assistant, and runs our phlebotomy clinic on Thursday mornings between 08.30 - 11.30 am. All blood tests should where possible be booked with her.

Practice Manager - Alison Parr BA

Alison has overall responsibility for the administrative running of the surgery. She would welcome ideas and suggestions as to how you feel we could improve the services we provide. If you have any complaints, do not hesitate to contact her.

Practice reception - Carol Pead, Jean Prior, Teresa Aldred, Mary Tricker

The practice receptionists have a very difficult task to perform. It is always helpful if you can indicate how urgent your request for an appointment or visit is. They are there to also answer your enquiries about administrative aspects of your health or care.

Teresa liaises with the Hants & IoW PPSA and with the North & Mid Hants Primary Care Trust.
